Private physiotherapy visits in eligible GTA retirement and long-term care homes are subject to facility permission, access and scheduling.
Private care in your residence
A resident, family member or facility staff member can enquire. We assess goals directly with the resident and involve others only with consent or appropriate authorization.
Facility coordination and consent
Visits depend on facility permission, access and appointment availability.
Private visits do not replace facility-funded programs or the facility’s equipment responsibilities.
Assessment in your residence
We discuss your goals and assess relevant mobility, transfers and use of mobility aids. Treatment and education depend on your needs. Family or facility staff are involved only with your consent or appropriate authorization.

Visits often focus on:
- Walking and safe mobility
- Transfers (e.g., getting in and out of a chair or bed)
- Strength and balance maintenance
- Use and review of relevant mobility aids
- Participation in daily activities

Can you visit someone in a retirement or long-term care home?
Private visits may be arranged in either setting, subject to facility permission, access and scheduling. They do not replace facility-funded care.
Can family members receive updates?
Yes, with your consent or appropriate authorization. Being a family member does not itself provide consent authority.
How can a family member enquire?
They can request a free call about location and facility access. Please do not include detailed health information in the public callback form.
Does private physiotherapy replace facility services?
No. Private visits are separate from facility-funded programs and do not replace the facility’s equipment responsibilities.
Fees for this service
In-home physiotherapy
Initial assessment: $200 / 60 minutes.
Follow-ups: $200 / 60 minutes · $150 / 45 minutes · $100 / 30 minutes.
30-minute home follow-ups depend on location and time availability.
All fees are in CAD. We provide receipts for you to submit to your extended health insurer. Coverage depends on your plan. No additional travel or parking fees.
