Video appointments can include discussion of symptoms, movement observation and exercise guidance. You must be physically in Ontario during the appointment; we assess whether video care suits your needs or an in-person assessment or medical review is more appropriate.
Is video care suitable for you?
Video appointments can suit movement review, education and exercise coaching.
They cannot replace every part of an in-person examination. We may recommend an in-person assessment, another service or medical care depending on your needs.
Before your video appointment
- Choose a private space where possible and let us know who else is present.
- Check that your internet connection and camera work.
- Leave enough safe space to move if exercise is planned.
Your video appointment
A virtual visit starts with a discussion of your symptoms and functional goals, similar to an in-person assessment.
We observe relevant movements through video and explain exercises or self-management strategies where appropriate.
Follow-up sessions focus on reviewing your progress, modifying exercises, and adjusting the rehabilitation plan as needed.

What equipment or technology do I need?
You need a device with a camera and stable internet, positioned so relevant movements can be seen, and enough space to move safely if exercise is planned.
Is virtual physiotherapy available anywhere in Canada?
No. You must be physically in Ontario during appointments with me, regardless of where you normally live.
Are virtual physiotherapy receipts provided for insurance reimbursement?
Yes. We provide receipts for you to submit to your extended health insurer. Coverage depends on your plan.
Can virtual care be used for follow-up after an in-home appointment?
Yes, when video care is suitable for reviewing your exercises and plan.

Virtual physiotherapy
Initial assessment: $150 / 60 minutes.
Follow-ups: $150 / 60 minutes · $100 / 45 minutes · $75 / 30 minutes.
All fees are in CAD. We provide receipts for you to submit to your extended health insurer. Coverage depends on your plan.
